Tina Hatem - Stuff 'n Such
Hello! Thank you for coming to my page! My name is Tina Hatem, the owner of Stuff 'n Such. I design and make cloth dolls and other creatures. My company is over 30 years old but I have been a local company until now! I am a pediatric nurse practitioner and have many other passions (the Beatles, Peanuts, Buffalo Bills, theatre … ) with dolls high on the list. I made my first doll at the age of 9 using a clean old cloth diaper from the rag box. Stuffed with cotton balls, she looked more like a snowman, but I was happy. At 16 I designed my first doll (I'm holding her in the photo to the left!) and actually sold 2 of them to a friend for $2 each! I continued to make dolls for family and friends for years until my husband said I should sell them (again) and Stuff 'n Such (named by my Mom) was launched.
Making dolls is such a joy! The dolls, their clothing, shoes and most accessories are made by me so a piece of me goes into every doll or creature I make! All handmade dolls or animals are unique and none are identical, even when using the same pattern! I love that! That means I make families of dolls, not twins. Calli Meets a Fairy
Named
for her favorite flower the calla lily, Calli loves spending time in her
garden. However, the place she loves has
become enchanted and the flowers, mushrooms and caterpillars have come
alive! The usual inhabitants have even been
joined by a Fairy much to Calli's delight!
Calli stands 8" tall, her
fairy friend a mere 2 ¾" tall. The calla lilies are 10" with a 2 ½" mushroom.
Calli and Fairy are made of muslin with cotton blend fabric clothes and
are made to be able to come off the stand if desired. The base is 5"x7" and is made of
wood, compact enough to be displayed almost anywhere!

Lizzy
Lizzy is a serious young lady working hard on sewing! Standing 15" tall, she is made from fabric and then painted all over with acrylics including her expressive face. She wears clothing made from calico fabrics and shoes from felt. Lizzy's hair is made from a wavy acrylic yarn. Lizzy comes with her chair and bunny who is almost finished!

Patience
Patience is perfect name for a little girl waiting for Santa to come! She stands 15" tall and has blonde rug yarn hair. Her body is made from muslin and she is wearing a soft flannel nightgown. Patience is clutching her removable Christmas stocking hoping it will be filled before she wakes Christmas morning!

Becky
Becky is an adorable child eating her orange sherbet cone on a hot summer day. She is a little over 10" tall made from muslin. She has brown eyes and brown wavy yarn hair wearing a sleeveless white mini dress and lime green pants. She is barefoot sitting on her rattan chair which comes with her. No one enjoys the summer months like little Becky!!!

Summer
Summer is looking forward to her after-the-holidays vacation in the islands! She is 15" tall, made of tea-dyed cotton flannel. She has blonde wool roving hair and is wearing a purple bathing suit and complimentary sarong! She comes with her lounge chair, beach towel, sunhat, book and glass in hand!

Annie stands 12" tall and is made from a cotton fabric (distressed to
look older than she actually is!) Her outfit is made from cotton and

Stella is a dreamy-eyed gazer! She is 12" tall and is made from cotton
muslin. She wears a mostly hand-sewn long dress made of moon and stars
pattern poly cotton fabrics and she has rug yarn hair.

Joy
Joy is one of Santa's most enthusiastic elves looking for a
home to watch over before Christmas! She
is 7 ½" (without her hat!) and made of cotton muslin with perle cotton
braids. She wears cotton bloomers,
sparkly felt shoes and dress.
Flurry

Just as her name suggests, Flurry loves to be out in the snow! She is 11" tall and made of unbleached muslin with synthetic yarn hair and an embroidered face. The doll is dressed in a soft blue quilted cotton 1 piece snowsuit with fleecy cuffs on her sleeves and pant legs. Flurry is riding on her blue felt sled and is accompanied by her trusty Snow Friend wearing her yellow felt scarf. She is a wonderful winter child!
Gwen
This
petite cutie is very fond of penguins. So
much so, that her friends nicknamed her "Gwen" to honor her
passion! Gwen stands almost 11"
tall and is made from a tea stained muslin.
She has jointed shoulders, hips, elbows and knees. Her skirt and cap are
made from a sock and she wears a grey fleece sweater and boots to match. Her brown curly hair is styled in thick braids. She is the sweetest winter loving little
girl!
